ABOUT MS. CROW |
Hello! I am a California Native, hailing from California's great Central Valley. I attended Mills College in Oakland, California where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a creative writing emphasis. Following my undergraduate studies, I attended the English Master of Arts program at California State University Stanislaus and then enrolled in the special education credential program at CSU Stanislaus. I received my Education Specialist Credential from CSU Stanislaus with a mild/moderate disability emphasis, along with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ELL (English Language Learner) authorizations. I received my Education Specialist Clear Credential from UCSC Extension Silicon Valley. I received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership through California State University East Bay in December of 2020. I am a third-generation public school teacher, and became a special education teacher as I believe those with learning, emotional, and physical handicaps have the same rights to an effective and positive educational experience. I have taught both Resource and SDC/SAI at Sunnyvale Middle School since 2014, and am looking forward to an exciting and productive year with your student! I am passionate about educational technology and am committed to providing your student with effective distance learning services. Recreationally, I enjoy dance, yoga, indoor cycling, running, reading, writing, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog. |
